Happiness is inherent to life at RPG. It is in our people, our policies that have been framed to enable each one of us to excel, in our product innovations, challenges that our businesses overcome, the community outreach programmes we facilitate...It is in all of these things, that together make RPG.

Our people continue to be our strength. Through progressive people practices and adoption of digital technologies in both offices and factories, our endeavour has always been to touch the lives of 30,000 employees, customers and other stakeholders, which is why we have designed unique initiatives and policies around their personal and professional wellbeing. For our employees, we have launched flexible working hours, 24x7 chatbots to answer queries, complaints, grievances, and much more, brought on board experts to offer assistance on physical and mental well-being, encouraged continuous learning and engagement, especially during these tough times. For our external stakeholders, we continue to focus on innovation, efficient and sustainable practices, and outperformance.

We are sparing no efforts to see that in everything we do, there is an alignment with our happiness objective. We plan to incorporate this into various HR processes across different stages of an employee’s life cycle. We aspire to be the “happy place” that each one of us looks forward to coming to every morning.

There is no "one-size-fits-all" template for happiness. It could be reading a new book, a hug from a relative, eating your favourite food, an accomplishment at work, getting recognition from your manger or peers, signing the deal that you have been pursuing, or having a sip of fresh ginger tea while typing away at your computers. At RPG, Happiness is addictive and has a way of sustaining itself. Happiness opens our doors to a world of opportunities and possibilities. It empowers us to touch and enrich the lives of others and work collectively towards a common goal that makes each of us rise beyond our limitations. This in addition to empowering each one of us to whole-heartedly embrace ourselves and nurture our talent and skills. This makes us a happy place with happy employees. Let us all make the effort to truly seek what makes us happy and form a habit to pursue it.
