Episode 40: Happiness is being in a supportive workplace

I joined the RPG Group as a Group Management Resource (GMR) in 2023 after completing my MBA from IIM Mumbai. From the beginning, I have been grateful to the RPG Group HR team for an outstanding induction program. The experience allowed me to interact with senior management, participate in engaging team-building activities and build unforgettable memories. The welcoming environment felt like a second home. It laid a strong foundation for my career.


The open-door policy in the organisation is one of its most admirable features. I believe, it fosters open communication and seamless interaction with leaders across the organisation. Additionally, the internal career movement policy offers exciting growth opportunities.


I am fortunate to have exceptional mentors. In the Supply Chain Management (SCM) group at Raychem RPG, I had the privilege of working under the SCM Head, whose guidance and trust helped me in my professional growth. I was entrusted with key roles in projects like implementing electric vehicles in logistics to reduce emissions and enhancing packaging processes to minimise waste. The opportunity to contribute meaningfully to such impactful initiatives gives me immense pride and happiness.


At Raychem RPG, we live by the mantra, “Work hard and party harder”. From team dinners to festive celebrations, at every event I have experience team camaraderie and a sense of belonging, creating a more supportive and inclusive environment. It has certainly made work an enjoyable place to be in.


I am honoured to have the opportunity to contribute to the organisation’s impactful eco-conscious initiatives that not only drive positive environmental transformation but also foster a sense of shared purpose and happiness among its people. These efforts have strengthened the organisational culture by. Looking ahead, I am eager to continue exploring opportunities that prioritise employee well-being, cultivate meaningful connections, and push the boundaries of what we can be achieved together.
